Community Through Colors is working in collaboration with Cornell University under funding from the U.S. Department of Energy to develop a 50kW renewable energy project at La Finca de Hamberto in Vieques, Puerto Rico. The project will demonstrate the potential for hydrogen power and how the technology might complement other forms of renewable energy such as solar.

The Foundation Vieques en Rescate (VER) was founded in 2013 with the mission of offering social, moral, and economic support to cancer patients that reside on the island of Vieques and recently completed a project with Blue Ion batteries to become energy independent, overcoming local challenges to provide services.
